Meghna Naidu the star has her birthday on the 19th of September, 1978. She has made a name or herself both as an actress and a dancer of Indian origin. She first tasted success after featuring in UMI 10’s song “ Kaliyon Ka Chaman” in the year 2000 and also appeared in a video by Saru Maini called “ Dil De Diya Tha” . After this she went on to act in films. However she is most remembered for her roles in B-grade movies and sleazy item numbers.
Meghna Naidu’s father is Ethiraj and he used to work for Air India apart from being a tennis coach. Her mother, Purnima was a school teacher and a half –Bengali. Meghna Naidu’s birthplace is Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh, but she spent her growing years in Mumbai, and prefers to call herself a Mumbaiite. She did her college from Bhavan’s College, Andheri; and got a B.Com degree. Being a Bharatnatyam specialist and having learnt that for over seven years, she is a gorgeous dancer. She had also said that she had been coaching in USA for four long years. . Her first feature film was Prema Sakshi in 1999 (a Telugu movie), following which she appeared in one more Telugu film and two more films in Kannada language. After that came “Kaliyon Ka Chaman”, this made her an instant celebrity. Following this she bagged a lot of stage performances both inside and outside the country. She marked her debut in Bollywood with Hawas in 2004. She also did Classic Dance of Love (2005), where she played the role of a dancer and also Rain: the Terror Within (2005), where she portrayed the role of a blind author. However she hasn’t been seen or heard of much after that in the film industry.
